 Welcome to the official website of the  Albanian Institute of National Affairs.  We  are present, having a five-year   history  behind us. We are a real part   of the  opinion, values and rich   Albanian  heritage.  Our vision and   goal are to  establish and  preserve a strong leadership in realizing a forum for debate, connected to the internal and international problems, as well as for policies affecting Albania and the world.

As co-runner with the numerous problems which the Albanian society is facing during this long transition period-: crisis of moral values, anarchy, missing rule of law, deformations of market economy, corruption of public administration and justice authorities, feeble positions of the groups, individuals or different organizations to the weak points of the state, etc, - our Institute has not only distanced itself from these attitudes, but also it has had its strong and critical voice against them. There are a lot of public statements, Reports, activities and conferences which demonstrate our coherent attitude. All these activities have been performed without any financial support and they have been covered only through the modest contribution of the membership of the Institute.

We aim at the leadership of the non-governmental organizations, since some of the real institutions of the civil society are missing in Albania and some of them have abused with the trust and support provided by foreign donors, at a time when they have to be sources of ideas, alternatives, information, opinions of independent experts from the political institutions, in order to ensure a critical balance to the programmed of the government. We have been and shall remain advocates of Your interests. Due to this coherent attitude, we have received considerations from the personalities and institutions of the country.

Our aim at a bigger performance in the future in dealing with and solving internal problems. At the same time we would need Your support in order to become a stronger and inspiring voice, in order to change Albania together and integrate it into EU.

Albanian Institute of National Affairs expresses the national aspirations of its own people and it has strongly demonstrated this at a time of missing or anarchy of values, and it is full of the energy and positive moral for an open and free society, as a value among values.

We, members of this Institute, feel good and comfortable as a part of this group. Our understanding, freedom of expression, dedication and responsibility, are fundamental in public debates and problems solutions.
